Tony Chavez, PGA
Director of GolfTony Chavez (PGA), a native of Indio, Ca fell in love with golf at the age of 5 when he started to follow his father Jose at Mexicali Country Club in Mexicali, Mexico. Tony came to the United States at the age of 16 to pursue his dream to play High School Golf and to go to College. In 1992 he enrolled College of the Desert in Palm Desert, Ca into the Golf Management Program where he learned the basic skills necessary to start a career in Golf. After an apprenticeship of 8 years in the year 2000 he earned Class A status with The PGA of America. Tony has been in the Golf Industry since then "helping People through the Game of Golf" Tony has PGA certification in Teaching and Coaching Golf and he is currently working on his Master PGA Professional Certification. His special interests are listening to music and self-improvement audiobooks.
