Veterans Surprised with Ryder Cup Tickets After PGA HOPE Golf Graduation, Courtesy of The People's Perk

Changing the game and delivering unforgettable moments both on and off the golf course, PGA HOPE gives Veterans exactly what its name promises—hope. This six-week golf experience introduces the game to Veterans and Active Duty Military, using golf to enhance physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.
More than just a game, PGA HOPE creates lasting friendships, builds confidence, and often changes lives.
The recent graduation of 120 Veterans from the PGA HOPE sessions at Bally Links at Ferry Point is a perfect example of the program’s impact—and the kinds of powerful, unexpected moments it can create.
As part of their graduation celebration, these Veterans came together to reflect on their journeys—and were met with an unforgettable surprise: a brand new set of golf clubs, a continued path forward in the sport they’ve come to love, and free Ryder Cup tickets, courtesy of the PGA of America’s The People’s Perk campaign.
These gifts weren’t just about gear or access—they were recognition of growth, connection, and resilience, celebrated on one of golf’s biggest stages.
