Join your PGA Coach for an hour in a fun, stress-free environment focused on helping you improve your short game. In this social, community-based clinic, improve your short game with your friends (or make some new ones) while you enjoy your favorite adult beverage.

During this event, your PGA Coach will cover short game staples (pitching, chipping, and bunker play) from 100 yards and in. While learning, feel free to have a drink (or two!) of your choice.

PGA HOPE Tidewater - Session 3

The Junior Coaching Program provides students with the opportunity to learn and practice advanced techniques, and to apply these skills on the course. It is ideal for competitive juniors who aspire to participate in tournaments or become part of their middle or high school teams. Each session includes 50 minutes of group instruction, followed by a mini-game or challenge to evaluate the students' abilities.

Class will meet at the far end of the driving range. You can drive or walk through the parking lot to arrive at our meeting spot.

Junior Coaching Program Ages 7-11

Kick start the Fall with PGA Junior League! Ranging from new golfers to advanced players, our program offers something for everyone with two exciting leagues: Travel League for players 9 and older who are ready to take on NOVA Central events featuring competitive matches against other local teams and In-House League to prepare our future golfers.

13U-Fall PGA Jr. League

PGA Jr. League is a youth golf organization that allows junior golfers to be a part of a team and collaborate with others. The team will travel around the Richmond area and compete against other golf clubs.

This program is for competitive golfers who have experience playing golf on the course. If your golfer is a beginner, I highly recommend our Life Skills classes. Visit firstteegreaterrichmond.org to learn more.



2025 First Tee - Greater Richmond Tattersall Youth Development Center PGA Jr League Program

Open to all skill levels, our golf clinic is designed to support junior golfers at every stage of their development. Whether they are just starting out or aspiring to play at the collegiate level, our expert coaching and advanced training tools will help them refine their skills and reach their goals.

**For beginners:** We focus on building a strong foundation, covering fundamentals such as grip, posture, and alignment.

**For advanced players:** Our experienced coaches provide high-level instruction, utilizing training aids and technology to enhance performance.

**Each session includes:**

✔️ A focused full swing lesson with access to launch monitors for in-depth shot data analysis

✔️ Short game practice, including bunker shots, pitch shots, and putting

Middle & High School Golf Clinic

Ready to step onto the course with confidence and style? _**Fore Starters**_ is the ultimate beginner-friendly golf series designed just for women. Whether you're brand new to the game or looking to build a solid foundation, our **Ladies 101 Clinic** offers a fun, supportive space to learn the basics, meet fellow golf enthusiasts, and grow your game—one swing at a time. Fore Starters: Ladies Golf Clinic

- **Format**: 2-person scramble (team play).
- Tee yardages will be adjusted based on age and on-course experience.
- **No ride-along carts** are permitted for golfers or spectators. Push carts are encouraged.
- Parents are allowed to caddie and are required to for newer golfers.
- Players can register independently or join a team. Please contact Coach Matt if your junior golfer needs a teammate for the event!

**"Participants should have prior on-course experience and some understanding of key golf concepts. To ensure all golfers have time to complete their round, maximum stroke and time limits will be enforced for each hole.

The “Swing Tune Up” series will run every Saturday from 11:30-12:30. This is a drop-in clinic with no multi-week commitment. **_(Online registration required)_** Every week we will split the time between one full swing topic and one short game topic.
