Milo Lines
Lead InstructorSince my youth I have had a love of athletics. In my early years I was a standout baseball player, but due to an elbow injury my dreams of playing professional ball were dashed. After a bit of coaxing from my father I decided to learn the game of golf and found I was what some might call a natural. I won two amateur events in my first summer of competitive play and impressed the golf coach at Utah Valley University so much that I was offered a place on his team and a scholarship. I earned Second Team All-America and Academic All-America honors, as well as a B.S. in International Business while attending UVU. After graduating, I turned professional and played full time on several tours; including The Grey Goose Gateway tour, The A.G. Spanos Tour, and the Canadian Tour. I won several events, and rarely missed a cut during the two years I played full time and I have since won several PGA section events and qualified to play in the PGA National Championship multiple times. I have studied athletic movement in most sports and have learned that there is crossover in most of them especially sports involving hitting and throwing. Golfletics is a word that I coined to describe my teaching. My goal as your teacher is to help you learn to apply the athletic skills you already have and to teach you the skills you need in order to improve as a golfer. No matter your skill level I know I can help you to play better golf. Let me help you to bring out your inner athlete. I have been a Professional since 2005 and in 2011 joined the team at Superstition Mountain as a Golf Instructor teaching under Mike Malaska. My understanding of human movement, attention to detail, and ability to explain complexities in terms everybody can understand, gives me a unique aptitude for instruction. In 2009 I focused exclusively on Golf Instruction and work with players of all abilities, including multiple PGA and LPGA Touring Professionals. I love teaching golf and spend my time studying the game and developing new ways to help you.
