Ryan Hitt, PGA is the PGA Coaching Center Lead Coach for Junior Golf Programming at PGA Frisco. This global hub and laboratory is designed to develop and foster the PGA of America coaching philosophy and combine coaching, club fitting, and fitness elements to create a unique experience that serves beginner golfers to elite players of all ages and backgrounds. At the PGA of America Coaching Center, Hitt is dedicated to developing programs that inspire the next generation of golfers while creating a clear pathway towards measurable improvement and long-term success. With a deep understanding of the demands of tournament play, Hitt’s coaching goes beyond technique—focusing on performance under pressure, strategic course management, and the mental game. Every student begins with a comprehensive assessment where Hitt collaborates with the player to set clear, personalized goals and build a strategic development plan. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, he tracks performance data and progress over time, ensuring each session is intentional and aligned with the athlete’s objectives. Hitt has given more than 12,000 hours of instruction between his eight years at Trophy Club Country Club—where he spent his final three years as Director of Player Development—and his current role at the PGA Coaching Center at PGA Frisco. His students have achieved over 300 tournament victories, claimed multiple state championships, and earned 16 collegiate scholarships. A Class A PGA Professional since 2018, Hitt has a passion for junior golf. He has served on the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Committee, devoted to improving the junior golf experience in the Northern Texas PGA Section. He was named a National Top 50 Coach by Operation 36 and was a finalist for the Randy Smith Youth Player Development Award in 2022. Hitt played collegiate golf for Arkansas Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Management. He achieved several scoring records and was a member of the Gulf South All-Conference Team. He also qualified for the U.S. Amateur Championship in 2007. He resides in Celina, Texas, and enjoys spending time with his wife Rachel, and their children, Judah and Riley.
