Henni Zuel joins Fairway Tales to talk life as a broadcaster, GOLFTV and Tiger Woods

Henni Zuel is a former professional golfer who became the youngest-ever player at age 13 to join the Ladies European Tour as an amateur. After retiring from the sport to injury at an early age, Henni Zuel took up broadcasting where she landed a job at Sky Sports and later the new digital home of golf, GOLFTV, where she now serves as Tiger Woods' interviewer among other content responsibilities.

On this episode of Fairway Tales, Zuel talks about her mom introducing her to the game of golf, how she transitioned from being a professional golfer to a broadcaster and some of her favorite Tiger Woods stories from the past year. Henni Zuel’s pathway in golf is more unconventional than most, but that didn’t deter her from making more noise in the industry later on as a broadcaster. Her role at GOLFTV has evolved from essentially being a one-woman team at the start, to having access to a full staff that allows her more time and freedom to focus on being the best interviewer she can be.

The many sleepless nights that came at the start of Henni Zuel’s broadcasting career have certainly paid off in the long run. Although a life not playing professional golf isn’t one she initially envisioned, she’s found her home and calling at GOLFTV.
