The 2022 KPMG Women's PGA Championship is fast approaching and 9 PGA/LPGA Professionals competing are getting ready to tee it up at Congressional Country Club.
Eight of the nine players are veterans of the Championship with one making her debut. Get to know them before they take on Congressional.

Jennifer is the PGA Chapter Coordinator/Senior Manager, Membership & Finance for the North Florida PGA Section. Borocz competed in the PGA Professional Championship for the first time in 2022 in Austin, TX. She was formerly the Head Women’s Golf Coach at Jacksonville University. Her caddie at the 2022 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship will be her husband, Matt, who is the PGA General Manager at TPC Sawgrass.

Sandra Changkija is the PGA/LPGA Professional at ChampionsGate Golf Resort. She was elected to PGA Membership in January 2022, making her a dual LPGA and PGA Member. She qualified for the LPGA Tour on her first attempt, completing her rookie season in 2012 and recording four career top-10 finishes through 2019. Sandra enjoyed a successful collegiate career at Nova Southeastern University, where she recorded 16 individual wins.

Stephanie Connelly Eiswerth is a dual PGA/LPGA Teaching Professional. She played professionally on the Epson Tour from 2009-2016 (six top-10 finishes) after playing collegiate golf at the University of Central Florida (UCF). She previously served as Assistant Women’s Golf Coach at the University of North Florida. Stephanie was named 2021 North Florida PGA Section/Northern Chapter PGA Professional of the Year. She competed for the United States team in the 2002 Junior Ryder Cup at the K Club in Ireland and was teammates with Jenny Suh Thompson.

Meaghan Francella is the LPGA Teaching Professional at The Philadelphia Cricket Club. She won 2007 MasterCard Classic in Mexico, defeating Annika Sorenstam in a four-hole, sudden-death playoff. She also won the 2010 HSBC LPGA Brasil Cup. Meaghan played college golf at the University of North Carolina and the University of Memphis. She was a two-time New York State Junior Champion.

Ashley Grier is a PGA Assistant Professional at Yingling’s Golf Center in Hagerstown, Maryland. She earned the Women’s PGA Professional Player of the Year honors in 2020 and has played in four PGA Professional Championships: 2016, '19, '21 and '22. In 2019, she was among the first two women 一 along with Joanna Coe 一 to survive both the 36- and 54-hole cuts to play all four rounds. Ashley's father, David, is the PGA Head Professional at Yingling’s Golf Center, which he has owned since 1990, and been a PGA Member since 1981.

Allie Knight is the PGA Teaching Professional at Fairways and Greens Golf Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. She has experience on the Epson Tour, having made 13 career cuts, including a career-best T-16 in the 2016 Symetra Classic. Allie has played in two U.S. Women’s Amateurs. She played college golf at Middle Tennessee State, where she was a First-Team All-Conference USA selection as a senior. Her caddie this week is fellow PGA Professional Byron Williams.

Alisa Rodriguez is a PGA Associate Teaching Professional at Balcones Country Club in Austin, Texas. She won the 2021 LPGA Professionals National Championship by 2 shots and currently plays on the Women’s All Pro Tour and the Epson Tour. Alisa played college golf at the University of Texas at El Paso, where she was the Miner’s MVP as a junior. For a second straight year, she will have friend and fellow PGA Associate, Chris Taylor, serving as her caddie at Congressional.

Jenny Suh Thompson is a PGA Teaching Professional and Membership Director at The Dye Preserve in Jupiter, Florida. She has played intermittently on the LPGA Tour from 2012-‘15. Past victories include the 2009 Alliance Bank Classic on the Epson Tour and the 2020 South Florida PGA Section Women’s Section Championship. Jenny played college golf at the University of Alabama and Furman University. She represented the U.S. in the 2002 Junior Ryder Cup at the K Club in Ireland (was teammates with Stephanie Connelly Eiswerth).

Ashley Tait Wengert is an LPGA Player Development and Teaching Professional at Baltimore (Maryland) Country Club. She was a regular on the Epson Tour from 2012-16. Past victories include the 2011 Texas Women's Open. Ashley played college golf at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2008-09. Her father, Patrick, was elected to PGA Membership in 1998 and will serve as her caddie this week at Congressional. She is the mother of Charlie, who will be 2 in September.
