Pennsylvania Teams Advance to 2026 PGA Jr. League National Championships

The 2026 PGA Jr. League Regionals continued this weekend, with two teams from Pennsylvania punching their tickets to their respective 2026 PGA Jr. League Championships. The Diamond Run 13u 1 All-Stars and the 17u Hot Shot All-Stars each won their division at the Regional, held at Drumlins Country Club in Syracuse, New York on Sunday.
Over the next few weeks, 13u and 17u teams from across the country will compete in PGA Jr. League Regionals, vying to represent their state at the 17u National Championship set for Twin Warriors Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico, in October and the 13u National Championship at Frisco's Fields Ranch West in November.
Diamond Run 13u 1 All-Stars – Team Pennsylvania
The Diamond Run 13u 1 All-Stars from Diamond Run Golf Club in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, punched their return ticket to the 13u PGA Jr. League Championship on Sunday with a 7-5 win over the Young Guns Red All-Stars. The Young Guns Red All-Stars represent Hot Shot Golf Academy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Diamond Run garnered the No. 1 seed during qualifying rounds on Saturday, then defeated the Erie All-Stars in semifinal action on Sunday morning to advance to the championship round.
The Diamond Run 13u 1 All-Stars are led by Head Coach Adam Morrison, PGA, and Assistant Coach Tanner Houser, PGA Associate. They will play as Team Pennsylvania in the 13u PGA Jr. League Championship at PGA Frisco’s Fields Ranch West, Nov. 11-15, representing the Tri-State PGA Section.
In 2025, Diamond Run finished tenth at the 13u PGA Jr. League Championship.

17u Hot Shot All-Stars – Team Pennsylvania
The 17u Hot Shot All-Stars from Hot Shot Golf Academy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, defeated the 17u Diamond Run 1 All-Stars from Diamond Run Golf Club in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, to win the Region 2 17u Division Championship.
The 17u Hot Shot All-Stars bested Diamond Run 7.5 to 4.5, after securing the No. 1 seed in Saturday’s qualifying rounds. The 17u All-Stars defeated the Buff North 17u All-Stars from Buffalo, New York, in Sunday morning’s semifinal match to advance to the championship.
Led by Head Coach Troy Williams, PGA, and Assistant Coach Jason Higginbotham, the 17u Hot Shot All-Stars will represent the Tri-State PGA Section as Team Pennsylvania at the 17u PGA Jr. League Championship, Oct. 22-25, at Twin Warriors Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico.
The 17u Hot Shot All-Stars finished fifth at the 17u PGA Jr. League Championship in 2025.
